Languages: Japanese and English. I also, when drunk, can speak 10 words collectively in German, French, Hebrew, and a couple unpleasant "Latin" words stolen from Harry Potter. They never seem to do anything, though. I suppose my wand just doesn't like me enough to work!
Stories: I was born to Fantasy books and will always return, no matter how many times I'm bitten by Wizards of the Coast. I hate romance and always look for the offbeat tales. I love vampire stories, but detest Anne Rice and her collection of vamp-porn cronies. I read a lot of dry college-textbook type books, get mad, and proceed to shoot my textual mouth off. Don't be alarmed if I voice something vehemently and roll my eyes at myself the next day. I have a love-hate relationship with fandom wank and wish more people would write about Lucius doing unspeakable things to Draco and Sirius, possibly at the same time. I mourn the end of the Harry Potter series. I love stories about the Sidhe, but have difficulty finding ones that aren't hokey. I want to see a story about an Unseelie prince who doesn't redeem himself and still ends up on top. Steampunk stories make me moist and warm inside, and so does William Gibson. I think Warren Ellis needs be be cloned.
Music: There is a minor list of J-rock bands I love in my interests, which is far from complete. I listen to any and all music--even rap, on occasion. Classical music is perhaps my true heart, paired with most world music. I love minor keys and fancy drumwork. I would kill babies to see every taiko performance in the country. I think Die Prinzen is the cutest thing Germany has ever produced, short of Wagner. Also, I would pickle the babies I had previously killed for taiko to see every performance of Scheherazade in the country.
Myth: My deepest interests with myth lie in Japanese and Irish folklore and the like, followed closely by Middle Eastern delusions and Norse ravings. Frankly, I like anything weird and wonderful but have a violent distaste for modern day psychic-newage-UFO beliefs. I like knowing about these things, but find it stunning that people take it seriously.
Green: I'm a carrot-muncher without a conscience. To avoid scenes I do my time and eat my burgers, but on my own I take the raw-vegan approach. I love animals far more than people and have perhaps an unhealthy obsession with natural things. That said, I love PVC, latex, and neon colours. I also love hemp clothing and recycled paper. I'd hate to limit myself so strongly to one thing. And no, I don't think leather is murder. Fur is. I'd love to live in a shack in the deep forest and am considering an education for Park Ranger-hood.
Animals: Cats, above all. Ferrets, snakes, bearded dragons, horses, and wee lizards. Spiders. Bugs.
